In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) are one-on-one qualitative interviews. They are well suited to personal or sensitive subjects, complex decision processes, and audiences that are hard to bring together, such as professionals, experts, and business decision-makers.
Without a group present, respondents can speak openly and in detail, and the interviewer can follow up on what is most relevant to each person.
